“WHAT IS I IF NOT THE SOUL OF WHAT FEELS”
“My work follows a linear personal narrative. Each part is a chapter of a greater whole, where individual works become steps in the path. Traveling through states of premature bliss, to an eventual dive into the depths of the shadow and the hidden parts of the psyche. The struggles of the “self” and selflessness are temporary; following desire leads into an inevitable dive into facing the personal historical threads of trauma. Through the necessary eventual act of real reflection and exploration of the shadow, I can bring light to the dark, and move towards true growth and freedom. The work is an expression of this process.”
