FINE ARTHerman Epis has worked and exposed in New York, and in Paris.
He is currently working between Italy and Spain, in fact he spends most of his time in Formentera, a tiny Balearic island, in the middle of Mediterranean sea. The blue of the sky and the sea are the setting for his study.
Thanks to his continuous experimentation, Herman is an artist in fervid evolution; now he has chosen his life, and his happiness in “his” island, working on selected commissions, and he is also writing his first book that, as he says: “it will not definitely be a best seller, but at least it will be entertaining, interesting, and hopefully fascinating”.

HE07 is an Italian graffiti writer, was born in Pontoglio, a little town close to Brescia, in northern Italy. He was a shy and deep child, and art helped him express his emotions. Those pure and fair “child eyes” find expression in his works, through his different streams taken from 1996 to nowadays.
Herman uses only stencils strictly handcuts, and spray cans to create, together with his visionary way of thinking and observing reality. He recreates the wall through material backgrounds on canvas, as if his ideas were spray-painted on a real wall. Concerning materials, he uses resins and liquid bitumen, materials generally used and designed for something else (Dadaism ref).
His art covers different themes, depending from artist’s inspiration, but also from commission, in fact Herman likes to study and have a deep comprehension of people, who he decides to create for.
Sensitivity and a critical eye on society are always present in Herman’s works, and he usually combines images with quotes, symbols or simple words. Faces and their expressions are important to Herman; he wants to drawn them as real as possibile, in a constant hyper-realism research.
