ALMOST FREEDOM SERIES
“Infinite formless timelessness, united in our spirit and similarity. Escaping the boundaries of form, line and culture. Fading what is, into what binds. In this state is the understanding of what is real beyond the lines of distinction. Enveloped in spaceless reality we float in euphoria as a singular bound consciousness of the universe. All a constant dance to freedom.”

Using a temporary material, such as charcoal, and making it immutable, through the use of fixatives and layering, it became a conscious effort to make the impermanent, permanent. A process of recognizing the movement from the mortal nature of life, to the immortality of the spirit, the temporal nature of struggle, to the permanence of presence.
